Meet our founder, Heather.

Heather Moore is the heart behind PetCentric Health® — a founder who believes that great pet care should be proactive, accessible, and built for vets and pet parents alike.

While Heather didn’t begin her career inside veterinary medicine, she’s been a lifelong animal lover and had a front-row seat to the industry with multiple veterinary family members. That perspective, along with Heather’s background in human healthcare, helped shaped the vision that there is a better way forward for how pets access healthcare – for pets, pet parents, and veterinarians.

PetCentric Health was born from a realization that there were limited pet health industry solutions that provided a win-win-win for vets, pets, and pet parents. By creating the first care plan subscription model that combines preventative medicine with our proprietary petFSA™ – pets are able to access the care they need, and both vets and pet parents are given greater flexibility, with transparency and predictability in cost, to ensure pets get the healthcare they need.

Our position – subscription care plans should be innovative, flexible, and yet provide better transparency and cost predictability so vets, pet parents, and pets can win together!

When she’s not building PetCentric Health, you’ll likely find Heather spending time with her family, doting on her crazy pets, or dreaming up new ways for PetCentric Health to improve the lives of vets we love, pet parents who need better solutions, and pets who depend on us to provide them access to the best healthcare possible.
